Cloudy Days

Cloudy days are the best! I like when it's cloudy because it is kind of relaxing... It's not all bright outside, but it's not dark... it's just right. I like when it's rainy, but not cold. When it's cold, you can't really enjoy the rain because it's... cold. So cloudy, rainy days that aren't cold... are the best!

A Book Everyone Should Read

Everyone should read, "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. This book is about a relationship between a boy and a tree. The boy spent his days as a child underneath this tree, and the tree would give the boy everything he asked for; apples, branches, shade, and even her trunk. The tree showed undying love for this boy, even into his adulthood. She gives him everything she possibly has.

It is important for everyone to read this book because it shows unwavering love for someone you truly care about, even though you keep giving to someone, and they keep taking, not even realizing that you are giving your whole life to them. It kind of represents parenting. A child may not even realize, until their older, that their parents gave them everything they needed, and dedicated their whole lives to raising them. I think moral of this story is to keep giving and you might actually save someone else's life, by giving your own.

Homework

Why do teachers give us homework? Do we not do enough work in school? We have 8 classes and it's not like we want to be thinking about school all day!! I think homework should be banned from school, and we should only have to do work at school. We shouldn't have to bring it home with us because home is where you are supposed to be able to relax, and you can not relax if you have to do homework.
